Naga Kesara (Mesua ferrea):

Mesuol , Mesuaxanthofle B- and euxanthofle 4- a1kylcoumnu0l MammeiSin ,Mamiflegin & mesuol from seed oil (Phytochem. 1971,10,1131). mesuaferrofle glycoside- cyclohaxodione- mesuaferrol, sitosterol. Octadecatriefloic and hexadecanolic acids are present in seed oil. Seed oil is analgesic, deodorant, anti-diaphoretic and stimulant. Hence seed oil is used in inflammatory arthritis for massage in foul smelling, excessive perspiration and wounds.

Priyangu (Callicarpa Macrophylla)

The oils were rich in selinene derivatives. The fruit oil was comprised of 41.6% beta-selinene and 6% alpha-selinene. The leaves from both the harvests contained 29% and 20% beta-selinene and 1.7% alpha-selinene. In addition, dendrolasin, a potential perfumery natural furanoid sesquiterpenoid, was a characteristic of both leaf and fruit essential oils.

Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza Glabra)

Glycyrrhiza glabra, licorice is a well known herb in traditional Indian and Chinese medicine cultivated in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Sub-Himalayan tracts. The main chemical constituents found are Glycyrrhizin, glycyrrhizic and glycyrrhetinic acids, liquiritin, isoliquitirin, neoisoliquiritin, and liquiritigenin. It shows it is useful in androgen driven disorders like androgenic alopecia, acne, Benin prostrate hyperplasia and prostrate cancer and polycystic ovary syndrome etc.
