Holy Basil

Holy basil is a plant with enormous properties for curing and preventing diseases. It is regarded as deity in Indian subcontinent. The leaves extract have essential oils (stearic, palmitic, oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids), it is also good source of Beta carotene, calcium, vitamin C and small quantities of eugenol, methyl cinnamate etc which are helpful in various skin conditions.
